BAIP signed a critical IT infrastructure maintenance services contract with Conexus, a Norwegian company that develops learning analytics and professional training solutions for the education sector.
The contract came to effect this April and will run for three years with possibility of extension. Estimated value of services to be provided – 145 thousand euros. It consists of such services as application operations and technical database management, IT infrastructure operations and incident management.
“Every beginning of a new partnership is exciting. We have already made some improvements in our change management processes according to the best practices of Conexus. Another valuable step was to schedule some time for both teams to sit together and go through the existing system – getting into all details early in the process will definitely improve quality of upcoming work,” – said Gytis Umantas, General Director of BAIP.
Nordics is currently one of BAIP priority markets. IT infrastructure maintenance services are already provided for Adform in Denmark and for several Nordic companies based in Lithuania as Stansefabrikken and Instant Norge AS.
“Nordic countries have high demands on the quality of services, so it is a good opportunity to once again test our CIMF methodology and competences,” – said Gytis Umantas.
